When it is about an embassy, the building should be belong to both the country it represents and the country where it is found. Adopting the concept of sense of belonging, the spatial abstraction of the tropical climate of Bangladesh, and vernacular material choice are intermingled with Anatolian materials and space organizations.
The office units that host guests and the private spaces work independently while composing the
whole structure in one compound. Since embassy building shelters an introspective usage by its
nature, representation is primarily generated through interpretation of the configuration and the
composition. The embassy complex is formed as a product of intermingled harmony among the elements
such as courtyard, iwan, street, window blinds and rain parasol.
